Description Charming, cosy and historic cottage in the beautiful village of Tideswell. The cottage has two bedrooms, will sleep up to 4 adults and has all the equipment and facilities required for your holiday. The cottage is located on a quiet street in Tideswell which is perfectly located in the middle of the Peak District National Park. Whilst Tideswell is still a small village it offers a range of great local facilities including four pubs, a superb cafe and a range of shops including a butchers, post office and a co-op store. All the great attractions in the Peak can be reached quickly from Tideswell and superb walking is available straight from the door of the cottage. Within 100m of the cottage you can be on open fields. The cottage itself has a large double bedroom and a smaller bedroom that can be set up as either a twin or single. There is a cosy lounge with two sofa's, TV, DVD, Hi-Fi and a wood / coal buring stove. The kitchen is equiped with all the essentials and a small utility room contains a washing machine. Outside is a sunny cottage style garden and a stone store shed. Upstairs are the two bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and shower. The cottage contains many original features and we have some of the deeds in the cottage dating it back to the late 18th century. A particular feature is an original crooked bean in the main bedroom. All towels and bed linen are included as is a welcome pack of milk, butter, bread, biscuits, shampoo, soap and importantly cold beer. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement. A travel cot and high chair are available free of charge. The cottage is available for any length of stay and prices start from £225 per week in low season or £175 for a long weekend.
