Overview
Vicarage Farm Holiday Cottages are in the heart of the Peak District National Park. The cottages and The Vicarage itself, built in 1637, are set in 6 acres of rolling countryside, woodland and delightfully landscaped gardens. They enjoy uninterrupted views from the grounds with miles of footpaths, dry stone walls and uncongested lanes.
The holiday cottages are set in the ancient farming hamlet of Wheston with its medieval cross. The hamlet lies within 6 miles of Bakewell, Buxton and Chatsworth.
The main house, The Vicarage, is a fine grade 11 listed building reputedly once slept in by Bonnie Prince Charlie. With the addition of 3 cottages in the beautifully converted barns, the properties together can sleep up to 25 people.
Onsite we have a tennis court, whilst inside there are saunas and of course log fires. There is also a playground and games room for children. Well behaved dogs are always welcomed in this pet friendly environment. Stabling and paddock are also available for horses and ponies.
Vicarage Farm is open all year round, with each season offering its own charm and delight.
