This is a superb area for walking, cycling, horse riding or just some peace and quiet! Although Alstonefield is in the home delivery catchment area of Sainsbury’s and Tesco, we can provide a welcome hamper containing the very best produce from the Peak District – from homemade jam and chutney to locally sourced bacon from locally sourced animals. The Old Shippon is a converted stone barn fully refurbished to modern standards, while still keeping a ‘traditional country feel’.
The self contained bungalow has a lounge area which includes a large sofa, a sofa bed, log fire, and digital colour TV & DVD player. Next to the lounge is the kitchen/dining area.
The newly fitted kitchen is well equipped with essential appliances, fridge/freezer, microwave and an electric cooker with hob.
The bedroom contains a very comfy double bed with ample storage space just outside in the cloakroom, and there is a double sofa bed in the living room.
The bathroom consists of a WC, wash basin and shower unit.
