Sleeping two, The Cow Shed is a stylish, self-contained ground floor studio and includes a modern oak kitchen, stylish marble and slate bathroom, lounge area with TV, DVD and VHS, dining area and an antique double bed. A travel cot is available on request.
The village of Wormhill is a rural community but just 10 minutes drive from the thriving spa town of Buxton, 15 minutes from Bakewell and around 30 minutes from Ashbourne.
There are excellent walks from the door of the Cow Shed including Monk's Dale, Chee Dale and Wye Dale nature reserves - all within one mile. The Pennine Bridle Way runs through the village offering unrivalled cycling and horse riding opportunities and attractions including Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park and Castleton are all within easy striking distance.
The area is full of historic, unspoiled pubs with excellent food.
The Cowshed is available for long weekends or weekly rentals.
