Description
These luxurious cottages are surrounded by some of the most spectacular and beautiful scenery in the Peak District National Park.
Situated adjacent to Dovedale in an elevated positioned overlooking the Manifold Valley they have amazing panoramic views with fantastic walking straight from the door!
The area has many historic sites and the spectacular countryside with its lush, tranquil dales and wild romantic highlands can be explored on foot or horseback
The cottages are converted from 18th century farm buildings into superb accommodation - they are centrally heated and double glazed making them an ideal choice for a holiday at any time of year. You can relax and unwind in a wonderful, peaceful setting.
The Manifold Trail runs below Swainsley and offers easy access for pushchairs, wheelchair users and cyclists. Fishing, pony trekking, water sports and cycle hire are all available locally while Dovedale is a must for all walkers.
There are many pretty villages to explore with great pubs shops and restaurants.
The bustling market towns of Buxton, Bakewell, Ashbourne and Leek all have excellent markets, cafes and antique shops. Bakewell, home of the famous almond flavoured tart, lies on the banks of the River Wye and two miles south can be found the medieval manor of Haddon Hall with its beautiful gardens. Elegant Chatsworth House and Park is four miles east of Bakewell.
There are many National Trust properties close by.
