Reduction in anti-social behaviour

A reduction has been reported in crime and anti-social behaviour in the Church Gresley area just a short time after residents created a Neighbourhood Watch group.

The Regent Street Neighbourhood Watch group are encouraging other communities to take similar action.

The Safer South Derbyshire Partnership helped to set up the Neighbourhood Watch group.

Member Kathy Greenfield said "For years, we have had problems with groups gathering, eggs being thrown at windows and attacks on cars. Now things have got better."
