Quad milestone

The newly opened Quad building is set to receive the support of a number of local companies when the new business club launches.

On Tuesday, representatives of 25 firms that have already signed up to be members of the club will attend the launch in the Market Place.

When Quad opened in late September, more than 10,000 visited in the first three days. Quad is now appealing to the business community to get involved.

Dorothy Warner, head of development at Quad, said "We want to show businesses how the arts can make a real difference to them, allowing them to get the edge over competitors."
