New Affordable Housing in the Peaks

A contraversial plan to build eight new homes in Baslow has been approved despite over twenty letters of complaints from local residents. Based on Over Lane, there had been concerns about the impact on traffic levels and the impact that the development would have on the village's character. Baslow and Bubnell Parish Council also raised these objections.

Following the approval to the planning application, Michael Watterson will now be allowed to build eight properties, featuring four bungalows, two three-bedroom houses and two two-bedroom homes on the end of the village of Baslow.
