Local Democracy Week

Councillors from the High Peak region are due to take part in Local Democracy week.

Mayor Robin Baldry will host the unique event at the council offices.

On various dates in October Mr Baldry will meet children from schools across the region, and the children will be able to ask questions about local government and the role of councillors.

Throughout October councillors will also be going in to schools and speaking to pupils in Years 10 and 11.
