Local cinema celebrates

The 12 screen Cinema De Lux in Derby is celebrating six months in the city.

The De Lux is a 2,200 seat cinema opened on the 16th of May and a variety of top films have been shown including Quantum of Solace, Mama Mia! and High School Musical 3.

Spokeswoman Wanda Whitson said "The cinema has been enjoyed by a large number of film buffs from the Derby community."
