Description Luxury Group Accommodation: Littonfields Barn offers the perfect destination for your family holiday or weekend break in the Peak District. We offer spacious, self-catering accommodation for groups of up to 12 people (+2cots), furnished to the highest standards. Together with its own games barn and full central heating, Littonfields Barn has all year round appeal, for Peak District holidays or short breaks. We are situated in the heart of the Peak District in the picturesque village of Litton, which has both a village shop and an excellent pub serving food. Tideswell village is just a short walk away with a good selection of pubs and shops, café, art gallery, bank with ATM and parish church known as The Cathedral of the Peak. Cressbrook Dale, National Nature Reserve is adjacent to our farm. It boasts fabulous scenery, abundant flowers, and miles of wonderful walks all on your doorstep. Peak District on your doorstep: We are well located for your Peak District holiday. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Castleton Caverns, Derbyshire Dales, Eyam, the market towns of Bakewell and Buxton are all close by. Only slightly further a field are Ashbourne, Lyme Park, Dovedale and Alton Towers. Family Holidays on Family Farm: Families with children are made very welcome, as parents ourselves, we know that if the children are having a good time then the parents are happy too! With this in mind we have a good selection of DVDs/Videos, books and games for all ages, and of course the games barn. We are a working family farm with cattle and sheep. Why not bring your wellies and we will show you around? Children especially like to see the baby animals ­ lambing time is in early spring and the calves are born throughout the summer.
