The Buxton "Breathe Easy" group helped to secure funding for a pulse oxymeter from the Bingham Trust, and they have donated it to the Buxton Medical Practice.
Sue Golden,
Secretary of Breathe Easy Buxton, said: "The practice specifically
wanted one for children, and this equipment is what is used at Stepping
Hill, which is where children from Buxton have had to be sent for
readings."
Breathe Easy Buxton, part of the British Lung
Foundation Support Network, meets on the first Tuesday of every month
at St Anne's Parish Church Schoolrooms, Hardwick Square West, between
1.30pm and 3.30pm.
