Description
CRESSBROOK HALL COTTAGES

Enjoy the beauty of the Peak District and sample the warm heart of Derbyshire! A wonderful opportunity to relax, refresh and re-charge in a unique blend of special self-catering or dramatically different guest accommodation at Cressbrook Hall.

A variety of thoughtfully prepared limestone dwellings, all within the grounds of Cressbrook Hall.

LOWER LODGE

An original lodge house at the southern entrance to the Hall: curiously shaped rooms with views of the Hall, grounds and Water-cum-Jolly Dale. 1 x double bedroom and bathroom with shower tub, hand-basin, w.c. The sitting room has an open fire and views of the Hall Grounds, overlooking the river.

Ground floor accommodation (suitable for physically disabled visitors)

HIDESAWAY
Hidesaway is perched above the wood that leads to the River Wye. The spacious sitting room has panoramic views over the river towards Millers Dale and gives access to the south facing balcony shared with Lower Lodge. There is level access from the parking area to an entrance porch, preparation/dining kitchen and large dining room with views over Ravensdale. A double bedroom and large room with 4 x single beds both adjoin a bathroom, equipped for wheelchair users. The property also has a shower, which is designed for wheelchair users.

RUBICON RETREAT
A large open plan, split level room with balcony, overlooking the river in Water-cum-Jolly Dale serves for food preparation, dining and on a lower level relaxing, watching T.V. etc - check suitability for disabled visitors.

Lower Lodge, Hidesaway and Rubicon Retreat are ideal for larger groups.

CARRIAGE COTTAGE
A conversion of the original Carriage House in the grounds of the Hall. Peaceful seclusion in spacious accommodation for 6/7 mainly on ground floor.

TOP SPOT AND HIGH SPY
Recently renovated gardeners' buildings; these two adjacent properties, kitchens and sitting rooms connect, occupy the original Victorian Gardens site high above Cressbrook Hall.

GARDEN COTTAGE
Overlooks the Halls's formal garden with a fine view of the hillside beyond. The cottage is a conversion of the original library and accommodates four people.

HALL COTTAGE
Adjoining Garden Cottage and sharing the same view, Hall Cottage is an unconventional conversion. Bathroom, sitting/dining room (open fire) and kitchen are on ground floor - you go downstairs to bed.
