Description
In unspoilt Peak District, Derbyshire village. Three bedrooms, sleeps up to 5 + a cot. Pets are welcome. Private Garden and patio. Off-road parking for 2 cars. Weeks Saturday to Saturday (May to September) or short breaks (November to April).
A delightful holiday cottage in the small unspoilt village of Middleton-by-Youlgreave, about five miles from the market town of Bakewell in Derbyshire.
It is surrounded by open countryside with excellent walks and well situated for the stately homes of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.
The cottage
was built in 1826 and is attached to the former village chapel which is where the owners live. The cottage was originally the residence of the minister. The house is Grade II listed of historical interest. The cottage has its own private garden and patio which is separated from the chapel garden by a wall and trellis with climbers and creepers.

. Comfortably furnished in a traditional style
. Pets are welcome: £10 per dog per week
. Ground floor: has a sitting/dingin room, kitchen and separate utility room
. first floor: has a twin-bedded room and bathroom
. Top floor: has a double-bedded room and a single bedded room

. Off-road parking for two cars
. Small very private cottage garden with lawn and flowerbeds
. Private patio with own garden furniture on the west side of the cottage which receives the evening sun
. The cottage faces south
