Immaculate stone built terraced cottage situated in central Buxton, ideal for all Peak District charms.
Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, ideal location in Buxton, Central Cottage, is an ideal base from which to explore the many attractions of the Peak District. Former Spa resort town built by the Romans, Buxton is the northern equivalent of Bath, complete with Crescent (shortly to be re-developed into a prestigious spa and hotel) and, of course, the Opera House.
Accommodation details The accomodation is over 2 floors and comprises: - 3 twin bedrooms - 2 shower/toilets - open plan kitchen/dining with sofa area. There is also a small sitting room which does have a pull out bed setee TV and DVD player.
The kitchen is fully equiped with: - fridge/freezer - washer/dryer - oven/hob and all utensils required for your stay. - All linen and towels supplied. To the rear of the property is a small sunny area with table and benches for guests to enjoy.
The local train station is 5 minute walking distance and has a direct links to Manchester.
All bus routes are situated on Buxton market place 2 minute away and provide access to the Derbyshire countryside.
Buxton Opera House, University Campus, Museum, Pavillion Gardens and swimming pool are a short 5 minute walk away. Buxton also has a lively night scene with several nightclubs, an abundance of restaurants and a wide choice of other eating houses. So if after a busy day’s sightseeing the prospect of cooking is less than appealing, you can let someone else do it! (One of the many advantages of a self-catering break.) Places of interest all within easy reach are Chatsworth, Bakewell, Pools Cavern, Castleton and beautiful country walks.
