Car crashes into house

Recently the A6096 that runs between Ilkeston and Spondon was closed due to a crash.

A car crashed into a house in Dale Abbey on Friday 14th November.

The car in question was a Nissan Coupe that collided with the house at 8.40am after hitting a Chrysler and ricocheting into the building.

The main gas pipe to the house was damaged in the incident on Spondon Road.

No-one has been seriously injured and the road was reopened by 11am.
