Description
Beechenhill Farm B&B

Wake up to beautiful views and the scent of fresh organic bread. We have two en-suite bedrooms in our friendly farmhouse bed & breakfast on our organic dairy farm in the Peak District National Park. Our carefully prepared breakfast is the perfect start to your day, with homemade organic yoghurt and special Beechenhill porridge, alongside food sourced from local and organic suppliers.

Sue, an artist has decorated the accommodation with style and imagination, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere with much evidence of her artwork around, from embroideries to stained glass. There are two delightful en-suite rooms, both with views south over a country garden, grazed fields and rolling hills and plains beyond. The canopied bed in the double room and the draped bed in the family room give comfort while the award winning information books are full of walks from the door, attractions and things to do, including a specially designed farm trail.

Beechenhill Cottage
You can’t see another house from little Beechenhill Cottage, warm and peaceful in its walled garden. Over sleep in the canopied king-size bed, (well it is so quiet!) the bedroom has old polished pine furniture and shutters. There is a muralled ceiling, a log burner and video for cosy evenings in. This cottage is a tranquil hideaway for two.

The Cottage by the Pond
Also carefully converted Cottage by the Pond with access for all, including those with wheelchairs. It has three attractive bedrooms and two bathrooms, it sleeps six. All accommodation is ground floor and level except one bedroom which nestles in the rafters. The large bathroom has a flat floor shower and accessible WC. The cottage is warm, spacious and comfortable, with a log burner.

Both Cottages are on our organic dairy farm, with farm trail, garden games and walks from the door. They both have radios, DVD players, videos and we have a small video and DVD library so you can while away cosy evenings.

There is no need to cook either; available from the farmhouse is a range of delicious, locally produced ready-meals and puddings. Beechenhill honey and Beechenhill Organic lamb is available too, and you can ‘Meet the Bees' with honey man Mark or ‘Milk the Cows’ with farmer Terry. You can also enjoy an ‘Elemental Experience’ in the Swedish Hot Tub.
