Beck Cottage

Beck Cottage is set in the heart of Eyam which is itself located in Derbyshire's original National Park, the Peak District. Sorry no pets or smokers. Sleeps up to 4 people.

This two bedroomed, detached, 400 year old cottage has recently undergone extensive and sympathetic refurbishment and is situated on a quiet and peaceful lane but stands just a minute's walk away from the village square.

The historic cottage was home to the village baker during the plague of 1665 and lies within the village that is complete with Jacobean Hall, Georgian Rectory and impressive churhc with Saxon cross.

The cottage offers extremely comfortable and traditional accommodation including beamed sitting room with wood burning stove (initial fuel included) set in original stone inglenook fireplace. Satellite TV and DVD player, farmhouse style fitted kitchen with dishwasher and auto washer/dryer, microwave, fridge freezer etc.

Accommodation

The accommodation also benefits from two first floor bedrooms with one double bed and one twin (made in to double on request) and has fully fitted bathroom with power shower and WC.

The cottage is fronted by a flagged courtyard with seating area. The rental price includes all linen, towels, central heating, gas and electricity.

Eyam Village

The village store is located 300 yards away. Superbly located for breathtaking scenery with walks over Eyam Moor and the surrounding peak district. The village is closely located to the famous market town of Bakewell and the caves of Castleton, Chatsworth House and Hassop Hall are also located within 5 miles from village.

2005/2006 Tariff

- from £300 per week 10% discount for previous guests. A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking and the balance due 6 weeks prior to arrival.
