Description Turlow Fields Farm lies within what is known as the Derbyshire Peak Fringe and Lower Derwent Area, Characterised by the impressive steep sided river valleys, Hedgerows, rivers, fast flowing brooks and steeply undulating grassland this area is seen as the foothills to the Pennines. We are situated just to the North East of Ashbourne and to the south of Carsington Water. perfectly situated to enjoy the peaks and dales of Derbyshire. A small but truly mixed farm there is plenty for you to see Aberdeen Angus cattle, sheep, Gloucester old spot pigs, goats, chickens and a pet’s corner. The cottage, Barn Close is attached to the farm house and is built on the footprint of where once stood a double pig sty and loose box; it has its own driveway, parking area and private garden. The Cottage is all on one level so is suitable for people who find stairs difficult. Tastefully decorated, the cottage has a spacious living kitchen with comfortable sofa gas log stove, open trussed beam ceiling and French doors that open onto the garden from where you have beautiful views over the farm and grazing animals, the kitchen itself is well equipped with dishwasher and microwave etc, yet retains its country feel. There are two bedrooms one double room and a twin room with bunk beds, decorated and furnished in a clean fresh country style with bedside tables, lamps and pine furniture(The bunks can be separated and are adult sized beds). The bathroom has bath with power shower over and curved glass shower screen, heated towel rail and shaver point.
