Bakewell Youth Forum Finds New Home

After over a three year wait the popular Bakewell Youth Forum finally got a new home recently with a move to Wye House in the town centre. Wye House offers excellent facilities for the 58 strong group, including a pool tables and darts to help entertain all members.

Derbyshire County Council's Youth Opportunity Fund has helped fund new boardgames and activities for the local 11 - 19 year olds, along with help from the HSBC that helped secure several thousands of pounds of furniture to help create a homely atmosphere. With the new move the Bakewell Youth Forum is hoping to attract more members from across the the region.

Bakewell Youth Forum is open to 11 - 19 year olds on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 10pm. To join the forum, either turn up on the nights or email yvonnebrookes@w3z.co.uk.
